Secretary of Rizhao Municipal Party Committee Li Zaiwu and His Delegation Visit Huamao (Rizhao) New Materials Project for Research

On 2^nd April, Li Zaiwu, Secretary of Rizhao Municipal Party Committee, and Lü Xiangyong, Member of the Standing Committee of Rizhao Municipal Party Committee and Secretary-General, accompanied by Sun Li, Magistrate of Wulian County, and other relevant responsible comrades, visited the site of Huamao (Rizhao) New Materials Project for research. Mr. Timothee Bediou, Senior Vice President and Director of Trammo Inc., Ms. Wang Kai, General Manager of Trammo Inc. China, and Xu Rui, Executive Vice President of Huamao Group, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit and delivered reports.

During the research, Secretary Li Zaiwu and his delegation listened carefully to the reports on the development plan, construction progress, on-site management and other aspects of Huamao (Rizhao) New Materials Project, which includes the 700,000-ton anode material precursor project, 300,000-ton high-tech carbon material project and 1.2-million-ton industrial steam project. Afterwards, the leaders walked into the heat-shrinkable workshop for key research. While walking and observing, they carefully watched each production process, and from time to time stopped to communicate with on-site staff, asking in detail about the characteristics, advantages of the production process and the problems currently encountered.

Secretary Li Zaiwu affirmed the project's independent core technologies and intelligent production processes, and highly recognized the enterprise's consistent adherence to high-start planning and high-standard construction. He pointed out that as a key project in Shandong Province's new materials industry, and with a joint venture agreement signed with Trammo Inc., this project is of great significance in product export, international market development, and enhancing the right to speak in the global industrial development. The enterprise should give full play to its own advantages, accelerate the project construction progress, ensure the project is completed, put into production and reach production efficiency as soon as possible, so as to inject new vitality into the construction of Rizhao's modern economic system.
