Member of the Standing Committee of the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor Zhou Shenghong and His Entourage Visited Huamao (Rizhao) New Materials Project for Research and Guidance

On 13^th May 2025, Zhou Shenghong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Rizhao, and his entourage, accompanied by Wu Guangfeng, Secretary of the Wulian County Party Committee, Liu Shiqin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Wulian County Party Committee and Vice Magistrate of Wulian County, and other relevant responsible comrades, visited the site of Huamao (Rizhao) New Materials Project to conduct research and guidance. Sun Pingping, Head of the General Affairs Department of Huamao (Rizhao) New Materials, and Li Dianzhao, Chief Technology Officer, accompanied the delegation and delivered reports.

During the research, Vice Mayor Zhou Shenghong and his entourage carefully listened to reports on the development planning, construction progress, and on-site management of Huamao (Rizhao) New Materials' projects, including the 700,000-ton negative electrode material precursor project, 300,000-ton high-tech carbon material project, and 1.2 million-ton industrial steam project. Afterwards, the research team went deep into the core construction area of the project, inspected the construction progress of each construction unit on-site, and stopped at the No. 1 Heat Shrinkage Workshop to ask in detail about the technological innovation points and energy efficiency indicators of key process links such as high-temperature calcination and gas-solid separation.

Vice Mayor Zhou Shenghong spoke highly of the phased achievements made in the project construction, and particularly praised the project's resource recycling design concept, believing that it fully reflects the orientation of green and low-carbon development. He pointed out that as a major project of Shandong Province in 2024, Huamao (Rizhao) New Materials Project plays an important supporting role in promoting the optimization and upgrading of Rizhao's industrial structure and the high-quality development of the regional economy. He emphasized that all relevant departments should attach great importance to the project, make every effort to provide service guarantees, promptly coordinate and solve the difficulties and problems encountered in the project construction, and ensure that the project is put into production and achieves results on schedule.
